Higham Cartlodge is built as a luxury holiday home which is both light and spacious, offering high vaulted ceilings in the farmhouse kitchen and open plan living space. Sleeping six in two King-size and one Double bedroom, it is situated directly in fifteen-acres of private parkland ensuring wonderful South-facing views of the Dedham Vale from all windows. Step out onto the patio and you have limitless green space to revive both body and soul. This retreat is ideal for the less mobile as it is all on one level.

The Ground Floor

Sitting Room – Open plan split level with comfortable sofas and chairs for six with French windows opening out onto the terrace and private parkland immediately beyond.

Kitchen – Farmhouse style kitchen with range cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine and dining table with seating for six.

Utility & Boot Room – American style fridge/freezer and bike storage.

Butterfly Bedroom – King-size bed and en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, lavatory and hand basin.

Vale Bedroom – King-size bed (splits into 2 Singles).

Indian Bedroom – King-sized bed.

Family Bathroom – Bath with shower, lavatory and hand basin.

Outside

Terrace, BBQ, table and chair seating area for eight and immediate access to fifteen-acre park.

Dedham Vale is in the heart of Constable country, which is the perfect location for a relaxing, tranquil holiday. Perhaps you plan to unwind at your accommodation, soaking in the atmosphere and spectacular view. Alternatively, you might wish to get back to nature and throw yourself into some local leisure activities. Either way, the area has the perfect variety of action and relaxation to offer you.

Our family have long been resident here, which allows us to pass on our knowledge and passion about Dedham Vale and the surrounding area.
